What information do we collect?
We collect information from you when you register on JobMax.org ("Site"), purchase a job order, subscribe to our newsletter, or fill out a form.
When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, email address, mailing address, phone number or credit card information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.
We also use 3rd party Analytics tools to monitor anonymous site usage and collect statistics.
JOB SEEKER PROFILES
When You ("User", "Job Seeker", "Candidate") create an account (and "Profile"), we collect the following information:
- Email Address
- First Name
- Last Name
- Password
- IP Address - used for security purposes.
You can then optionally provide the following information:
- Phone Number
- Photo
- Location (City/State/Province) - geocoded this location to a Longitude/Latitude in order to facilitate distance based search on the Profile Database search
- Longitude/Latitude - geocoded from Location value
- Resume/CV (PDF/Word/Text)
- Social Media Links (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter)
- Employment history
- Educational history
- Certifications or Professional Licenses
- Skills
- Custom Fields - dependent on what are required from you.
When is this information shared?
When you apply to a job advertisement (“Job Ad”), your email address, name, resume/CV and cover letter are sent to the employer (specifically to the email address designated by the employer as the “Apply via Email” address when the employer posted the Job Ad)
The employer with appropriate permissions may view your Profile Data (excluding email address and IP address)
JOB APPLICANTS
We can permit you to apply to Job Ads without first having to create an account with our site.
Apply via Email (i.e. Hosted Apply)
In the case where a Job Ad is setup as an Apply via Email (i.e. where our site hosts the Job Application form), the following information is collected:
- Email Address
- First Name
- Last Name
- Resume/CV
- Cover Letter
- Source - if we are able to identify where a job seeker came from, e.g., ZipRecruiter, Indeed, Twitter, Email Campaign, etc.
- Custom Fields - dependent on what are required from you.
Information about the job seeker-applicant’s email address, first name, last name, resume/CV, cover letter and custom fields, will be shared with the Employer who posted the Job Ad.
Apply via URL (i.e. external click)
In the case where the Job Ad is setup as an Apply via URL (i.e., where you are taken to an external website to complete the application), the following information is collected when you click on the “Apply to this Job” button:
- IP Address - we use the IP Address to geocode the location for reporting purposes and then store an anonymized version of the IP address (i.e. 127.123.123.000)
- City, State, Zip Code - based on IP address geocoding
- Longitude, Latitude - based on IP address geocoding
- User Agent- device and browser i.e. iPhone, Windows, Firefox Referring
- Website or Search Engine (if this information is available to us) - where the visitor came from i.e. Google Search
- Source - if we are able to identify where you are came from, e.g., ZipRecruiter, Indeed, Twitter, Email Campaign, etc.
JOB ALERT SUBSCRIBERS
When you sign up for job alert emails, we collect the following information:
- Email address
- Search preferences/search query - i.e. “sales jobs” in "New York, NY"
EMPLOYERS
When You ("User", "Employer", "customer") register for an account on our site, we collect the following information:
- Email Address
- First Name
- Last Name
- Password
- IP Address - used for security purposes
You can then optionally provide the following information:
- Phone Number
- Company Name
- Company Description
- Logo
- Additional Media (Image, Videos)
- Company Location (Street Address/City/State/Province) - geocoded this location to a Longitude/Latitude in order to facilitate distance based search on the Profile Database search
- Longitude/Latitude - geocoded from Location value
- Custom Fields - dependent on what are required from you.
What do we use your information for?

How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information.
We offer the use of a secure payment process. All supplied sensitive/credit information is never touches our serves and is handled directly by our PCI Compliant Merchant partner. All date encrypted into our Merchant partners database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, who are required to keep the information confidential.
After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.
